December 10 Josh Warrington (31-1-1, 8 KOs) will make his first defense of the IBF featherweight title at a boxing night in Leeds on 10 December. The British will face Luis Alberto Lopez (24-2, 14 KOs).
The 28-year-old Mexican is the official contender for the title of the International Boxing Federation. In his recent performances, Lopez beat Isaac Lowe and Raul Chirino.
Warrington won the IBF belt in March by defeating Kiko Martinez. In this fight, the Briton suffered a broken jaw, but he has already returned to the training room and is preparing to defend the title.
