December 10 at a boxing evening in New York Teofimo Lopez (17-1, 13 KOs) will fight his second fight after moving to super lightweight. The opponent of the former world champion in lightweight should be the former world champion in two weight categories Jose Pedraza (29-4-1, 14 KOs).

In August, Lopez made his debut in a new weight category, defeating Pedro Campa ahead of schedule. It was his first fight since losing to George Kambosos last year.

Pedraza, in his last appearance in the ring, boxed to a draw with Richard Commey. The Puerto Rican hasn't won a pro ring since last June.
