Anthony Joshua (24-3, 22 KOs) could part ways with coach Robert Garcia after just one training camp and fight - at least that's what former two-time world heavyweight champion promoter Eddie Hearn says.
Garcia, after losing to Oleksandr Usyk (20-0, 13 KOs), admitted that the Ukrainian was morally stronger. At the same time, AJ is not used to criticism from his team.
“I saw an interview with Garcia and Joshua's recent comments probably won't please him, although I haven't discussed it with AJ himself yet. Knowing Anthony, he should have already started the process of rebuilding and getting back to basics. He returned to Finchley, where he began his career, this place inspires him. This place has changed his life, and sometimes when life gets complicated, it needs to be simplified as much as possible, ”says the head of Matchroom Boxing.
“We are working on an AJ fight in December, although it could be January. He must return to the victorious path and remain active. I want to give him four fights next year,” Hearn added.
