Former world champion Shawn Porter likes the fight between Deontay Wilder and unified heavyweight champion Alexander Usik better than the fight between Tyson Fury and the talented Ukrainian for the outright title.

Porter believes the Wilder vs. Usik fight will keep boxing fans in suspense from start to finish. The power of the former WBC heavyweight champion Wilder (42-2-1, 41 KOs) in one punch makes this an incredibly exciting fight, in his opinion.

Porter also believes the Usik-Fury fight will be the best boxing match ever, but it won't be the kind of spectacle ordinary fans love. Fans want to see nonstop drama, not a boxing bout with lots of movement and constant feints.

"You could see that Joshua was ready, but not ready enough," Sean Porter told Fighthype about Anthony Joshua's recent loss to Alexander Usik. - "He had a tough ninth round, and I felt like he should have started the fight the way he did that ninth round.

"This is a fight I really want to see," Porter said of the fight between Usik and Deontay Wilder. - I want to see it more than Usik vs. Fury. I think the matchup of styles would be better in that case."

"When we get Usik vs. Fury, it's the best boxing fight you can get in the heavyweight division today. But in terms of keeping the audience in suspense, it's Usik vs. Wilder."

"He should have laid out early and let the fight be what it was supposed to be," Porter commented on Joshua's actions in the rematch with Usik. - "He should have gone for the knockout early and put some serious pressure on Usik.
