Thompson tells who he wants to fight next

American UFC welterweight champion Stephen Thompson admitted that he would like to fight Brazilian Michel Pereira in his next fight.

"I think with Pereira we'd have a terrific fight. He obviously wouldn't mind getting in a standup fight. As I recall, he even challenged me on social media, so that's a great option.

I did my last fight at the Apex Center, now I'd like to do it in the big arena. I've always been able to have good fights at Madison Square Garden. I've always put on a show there, and I'd like to face Pereira there in November," Thompson told BJ Penn.

Earlier, Thompson said he refused to fight Shavkat Rakhmonov because he didn't want to fight another wrestler.
