Cormier: "Diaz sees Chimaev as just another opponent.

Former UFC bantamweight champion Daniel Cormier shared his opinion on promotion veteran Nate Diaz.

"Nate is a guy who has always fought everybody. If you reflect on his fight with Chimaev, you realize it looks like some kind of mismatch. But the same could be said of his first fight with McGregor, when he took the fight on short notice.

Most would say of Hamzat, "Wow, this guy is scary and dangerous." But Nate doesn't see all that, he only sees another opponent," Cormier said on his YouTube channel.

The Chimaev vs. Diaz fight will headline UFC 279, which takes place the night of Sept. 11 in Las Vegas.
