Edwards called the condition under which he will fight with Diaz

Newly minted UFC welterweight champion Leon Edwards called the condition under which he would give Nate Diaz a chance to fight for the championship belt.

“Imagine this scene when Diaz defeats Chimaev. I really hope he does. Imagine it. I would 100 percent give him a chance in that case. It would be a crazy turn of events. There is no doubt that this guy would get a chance. It's just that Nate is a great guy and a fighter. I told him this after our fight. Diaz is who he is. He is one of those guys who doesn't change with time. If Nate really beats Khamzat, he'll get his chance," Edwards said.

Recall that Edwards won the belt by knocking out Kamara Usman.
