In less than a month, on August 20, we will see a revenge Anthony Joshua (24-2, 22 KOs) with Oleksandr Usyk (19-0, 13 KOs) in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Well-known British trainer Adam Booth spoke about AJ's chances in the second fight with his last year's offender.

“I think the second fight will be more equal than the first. However, I still bet on Usyk to win. Joshua will probably fight more aggressively, but the Ukrainian will manage. AJ did not put any physical pressure on Usyk last time, he should have done it from the first gong, ”said Booth, under whose leadership Josh Kelly will meet Lucas Bastida tomorrow evening in Newcastle.

“The winner of the confrontation between Usyk and Joshua 2 should fight Tyson Fury for all the belts. Fury is still at the top. In addition, we need big fights, the outcome of which is not taken for granted. Boxing lives thanks to such fights, ”added the Briton, best known for working with champions such as David Haye and George Groves.

Usyk won his first fight with Joshua last September in London by unanimous decision, taking away the IBF, WBA and WBO heavyweight belts from AJ. The Ukrainian will enter the second fight as the favorite of the bookmakers and, probably, the majority of experts.
