Davis Garcia: "See you at the end of the year"

“See you at the end of the year,” wrote Gervonta Davis (27-0, 25 KOs) as a short result of the victory Ryan Garcia (23-0, 19 KOs) over Javier Fortuna (37-4-1, 26 KOs).

KingRye sent Fortuna to the floor in the fourth, fifth and sixth rounds. The last fall was a knockout. After the fight, Garcia, out of habit, challenged Davis, but also noted that he would be ready to meet Teofimo Lopez as well.

For the fight against Fortuna, Garcia will receive a guaranteed minimum fee of $2 million. Fortuna's earnings, according to the California State Athletic Commission, will be $100,000.
