Blachowicz: Usman can succeed at light heavyweight but not me

Former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jan Blachowicz responded to desire Kamaru Usman climb his division.

The promotion's previously dominant welterweight champion has expressed confidence that he can take on some of the light heavyweights.

"He's a big guy, so maybe he'll move up to the light heavyweight division. If Jiri [Prohazka] doesn't want to fight me, then I'm ready to face Usman. Of course, he can succeed at light heavyweight, but not against me. If he fights me, he will be defeated,” Blachowicz said on The MMA Hour.

Recall that Usman will fight with Leon Edwards on August 20 at UFC 278.
