Poirier commented on Fiziev's victory over dos Anjos

Former Interim UFC Lightweight Champion Dustin Poirier commented on the speech Rafael Fiziev against Rafael dos Anjos at UFC on ESPN 39.

“I will speak from the position of a fan, not a potential rival. Fiziev has huge potential. He defeated the ex-champion, showed excellent takedown defense, stamina and strength.

He showed everything necessary to become one of the contenders for the belt. He took down dos Anjos at the championship level, keeping his cool,” Poirier said in an interview with DC & RC.

Recall, Fiziev won by knockout in the fifth round.
