Madrimov-Soro ended in a technical draw

Revenge and WBA welterweight eliminator between Israil Madrimov (8-0-1, 6 KOs) and Michel Soro (35-3-2, 24 KOs) ended in a technical draw after Soro suffered a cut from an unintentional headbutt early in the third round of a boxing evening at the O2 Arena in London.

Madrimov noticeably shocked Soro in the second round, but the premature ending did not allow him to achieve a confident victory. The cut didn't seem all that serious. This rematch was set after Madrimov got the win by controversial referee stoppage in their first fight.
