Lomachenko is set to return to the ring in October

Vasily Lomachenko (16-2, 11 KOs) told his promotional organization Top Rank that he was ready to return to the ring in October. The next fight of the world champion in three weight categories should take place in the USA.

The last time the Ukrainian boxed was in December, unanimously defeating Richard Commey on points. In the spring, Lomachenko refused a duel with Georgy Kambosos, as he decided that he would remain in his homeland and take part in the defense of Ukraine from Russian aggression as part of the territorial defense forces.

It is not yet known who will become the rival of the 34-year-old Ukrainian. Soon Lomachenko is going to start preparing for his return.
