Anthony Joshua (24-2, 22 KOs) signed a lucrative contract with the DAZN platform before the rematch with Oleksandr Usyk (19-0, 13 KOs), but now his August fight is likely to be shown in the UK by Sky Sports.
This is because the contract signed by AJ did not include his duel with Usyk, and Eddie Hearn, under a contract for 80 million, transferred the rights to British television to investors from Saudi Arabia.
Gareth A. Davies revealed that Sky Sports, which has been showing Joshua's fights in the UK for years, has beaten DAZN in an auction. There have been no official announcements from Matchroom Boxing yet.
