Bivol Buatsi in October in London?

Eddie Hearn announced that he made an official offer to organize a fight between the WBA light heavyweight champion Dmitry Bivol (20-0, 11 KOs) and Joshua Buatsy (16-0, 13 KOs). The fight may take place in October at Matchroom Boxing in London.

“Bivol just wants to fight the best, and Buatsi asked for an offer from us. We made sure that this offer was financially beneficial for him. The fight has not yet been agreed and signed, but we will try to quickly finalize it, ”said the head of Matchroom Boxing.

The Briton takes third place in the latest ranking of the World Boxing Association. Recently, Gilberto Ramirez won against Dominique Bözel in the eliminator for the championship belt, but the Association has not yet announced official dates for the challenger.

In his last appearance in the ring, Buatsy defeated Craig Richards on points, and this will be his first duel for the belt in his career. In early May, Bivol beat Saul Alvarez on points and was obliged to rematch with the Mexican, but preferred the third fight with Gennady Golovkin, and now the second fight will take place no earlier than May next year.
