Former Bellator and One FC welterweight champion Ben Askren shared his expectations from the upcoming title fight in the UFC middle division between the champion Israel Adesanya and Jared Cannonier.
“I think Adesanya will win. He is really good. He had a few performances that were hardly amazing, but in most of his fights he looked really great.
He's probably the best striker in the division and I haven't seen him get outplayed a lot on the stand. I don't think Cannonier can beat him," Askren told The Body Lock.
Adesanya vs. Cannonier will headline UFC 276, which will take place on the night of July 3 in Las Vegas.
