Nurmagomedov officially inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame

Undefeated Russian mixed martial artist Khabib Nurmagomedov became a member of the UFC Hall of Fame.

The former UFC lightweight champion was officially inducted into the American Promotion Hall of Fame at a ceremony held on the night of July 1 in Las Vegas. At the event, Nurmagomedov received an award, as well as a special jacket with gold lining.

The inclusion of the Russian in the Hall of Fame was announced on March 6 during the UFC 272 show.

Nurmagomedov (13-0) has been playing in the UFC since 2012 with 13 wins. In April 2018, he won the lightweight championship belt, and then made three successful title defenses. Khabib announced his retirement in October 2020 after defeating Justin Gaethje.
