Alvarado-Velasquez on the Alvarez-Golovkin undercard

September 17 in Las Vegas Joselito Velazquez (15-0-1, 10 KOs) and Felix Alvarado (38-2, 33 KOs) will fight for the IBF flyweight title.

Alvarado, a native of Nicaragua, boxed for the last time in May, defeating Luis Hernandez ahead of schedule. For the 28-year-old Velasquez, this will be the biggest challenge of his professional career.

The main event of the September boxing evening will be the third fight between Saul Alvarez and Gennady Golovkin. The boxers will fight for the IBF, WBA, WBO and WBC super middleweight championship belts for the Mexican.
