American UFC bantamweight fighter Sean O'Malley expressed the opinion that the former UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov ended his career due to unwillingness to intersect in a cage with Charles Oliveira.

“This is an interesting fight that I would like to watch. Everyone believes that Khabib destroys everyone in his path. I believe that Oliveira is the only one who could create problems for him.

Who knows, maybe it was for this reason that Khabib hung up his gloves on a nail. Maybe he looked at Charles and thought, "No, I don't want to fight this guy." I think Khabib vs Oliveira would be a huge fight," O'Malley said in an interview with the Canal Encarada YouTube channel.

Nurmagomedov ended his career in October 2020 after an early victory over Justin Gaethje.
