Russian veteran of mixed martial arts Fedor Emelianenko announced that he would hold his farewell fight in the fall.
“When will there be a career announcement? When there is clarity. I was told to prepare for autumn. There will be a fight in the autumn, but there is no date yet.
Will the appointment to the post of President of the Union of MMA move me away from the title fight? No, it's all discussed, it's not gone anywhere. There will still be. I hope [Ryan] Bader agrees,” Emelianenko said.
The last fight 45-year-old Emelianenko held in October last year, knocking out Timothy Johnson in the first round.
