One of the greatest boxers of all time, 45 years old Floyd Mayweather Jr will hold another exhibition match in Japan in September.

Floyd's rival will be Japanese Mikuru Asakura, a 29-year-old MMA star who is popular primarily in his homeland. The exact date and venue of Mayweather Jr vs. Asakura will be announced soon.

Mayweather Jr.'s last full professional fight took place over four years ago when The Money knocked out MMA star Conor McGregor in August 2017.

Floyd then competed in December 2018 in Asia, quickly knocking out the young and popular kickboxer Tenshin Natsukawa at RIZIN New Year's Eve in Saitama, Japan.

In June 2021, Mayweather had another show duel, this time with scandalous blogger Logan Paul. The judging verdict of the fight was not announced, but the legendary champion won.

In May 2022, viewers could see Mayweather at a show in Abu Dhabi, where he shared the ring with Don Moore.
