Undefeated super middleweight boxer Edgar "The Chosen One" Berlanga (20-0, 16 KOs) beat the former two-time title challenger Alexis Angulo (27-3, 23 KOs) after ten rounds in the main event of the evening at the Hulu Theater Arena in Madison Square Garden in New York.

Berlanga, who started his career with 16 consecutive first-round knockouts, now has four consecutive decision wins to his credit. Probably the highlight of this fight was Berlanga's attempt to bite the 38-year-old Angulo in the seventh round, for which he received no reaction from the referee. Judging scores: 98-92, 99-91 and 99-91.

Regarding the “bite” in the seventh round, Berlanda stated the following after the fight: “He hit me with his elbows. I was going to do Mike Tyson with him. He kept hitting with his elbows, and I didn't want to get cut."

The attendance of the evening, according to the organizers, was 4357 spectators.
