275,000 pay-per-views were sold in the United States at the boxing night held in New York on Saturday. In the main battle Gervonta Davis (27-0, 25 KOs) KO Rolando Romero (14-1, 12 KOs) in the sixth round.
This was Davis' fourth fight in a row to be shown in the US on PPV. The duel with Romero achieved the best sales result and generated almost 22 million in pay-per-view revenue.
Saturday night was watched live by 18,000 fans at the Barclays Center. After this fight, Davis may end his partnership with Mayweather Promotions. Eddie Hearn has already stated that he would like to sign a contract with the American boxer.
