Former UFC Bantamweight Champion TJ Dillashaw shared his thoughts on a potential transition Alexandra Volkanovski to the lightweight division.
“If Volkanovski moves up to lightweight, he will keep his speed and look faster than lightweights. Plus, it hits like a truck. He used to be big and played rugby.
I don't think moving to the lightweight division will be a problem for him. He will be a serious threat at 155 pounds. This guy is impressive, he is very good. He has achieved great heights in his career," Dillashaw said on Submission Radio.
Recall that Volkanovskiy's next fight will be on July 2 at UFC 276 against Max Holloway. For the Australian, this fight will be the fourth defense of the featherweight belt.
