Garcia ready to fight Davis in December

Ryan Garcia (22-0, 18 KOs) announced on social networks that he was ready to fight Gervonta Davis (27-0, 25 KOs) in December. Garcia watched Saturday's fight between Davis and Rolando Romero from ringside.

The 23-year-old boxer will fight his next fight on July 16 in Los Angeles. The name of his opponent has not yet been officially confirmed, but most likely it will be former world featherweight champion Javier Fortuna.

“I will do my work in July, and then I will take on Davis. Throughout the fight he was yelling that I will be next, so let's do it in December, ”wrote the former interim WBC lightweight champion.

Davis became a free agent after yesterday's fight. Garcia has a contract with Golden Boy Promotions, and his fights are shown on the DAZN streaming service.
