Wilder: "I can't stop now"

Deontay Wilder (42-2-1, 41 KOs) attended a presentation of his statue in his native Tuscaloosa, Alabama, which will remain on permanent display downtown.

“I can't stop right now. I must continue my journey,” Wilder said at the presentation ceremony in front of his fans. “I love you guys so much. I can't end like this. This journey is not over. I must continue."

In his last fight, Wilder lost ahead of time Tyson Fury (31-0-1, 22 KOs). This confrontation was named by many as the best match of 2021.
