After Saturday's defeat Martina Bakole Tony Yoka lost his place as a contender for the European heavyweight title. In this position, the Frenchman was replaced Umut Jamkiran (18-0, 17 KOs).

The 33-year-old Turk is now set to face off for the vacant EBU belt with Agit Kabayel (22-0, 14 KOs), who on Saturday at a boxing evening in Magdeburg unexpectedly returned to the ring after a year-long break, having scored an early victory over Pavel Sour.

The tender for the choice of the organizer of the Kabayel-Jamkiran fight is scheduled for June 7. Joe Joyce previously held the EBU heavyweight belt.
