Bivol: I haven't heard Canelo wants a rematch

Dmitry Bivol (20-0, 11 KOs) still waiting for official position Saul Alvarez (57-2-2, 39 KOs) for their possible second fight. Canelo, who was recently defeated by the Russian in an attempt to win the WBA light heavyweight belt, has a rematch clause in his possession but has not yet exercised it.

“A duel in September? No problem, but so far I have not heard that he wants a rematch, Bivol said. “I will give him this rematch because I have to, but I would rather face another champion.”

“I want to get the rest of the belts, I want to develop. If I win against Canelo again, I will still be in the same place with the same victory, ”the WBA champion explained his priorities.

A possible rematch between Bivol and Alvarez could take place on September 17. The fight can take place both in light heavyweight and in super middleweight, where the Mexican owns four championship belts.
