Amir Khan (34-6, 21 KOs) announced the end of his professional career. The Briton had his last fight in February, losing by technical knockout. Kell Brook.

The 35-year-old athlete in the 2009-11 season was the world champion in super lightweight. The Englishman also tried his hand at fights for championship belts in the welterweight and middleweight divisions.

“I had an amazing career, I boxed for 27 years. Boxing created me and gave me a platform that I am proud to use to help and inspire others,” said the former boxer.

After the February loss to Brook, Khan announced that there would be a rematch, but in the end he decided to hang up his gloves.
