Parker and Joyce will meet in July in the UK

Frank Warren announced that in July the former world heavyweight champion Joseph Parker (30-2, 21 KOs) will face Joe Joyce (13-0, 12 KOs). The exact date of the match, which is scheduled to be held at one of the stadiums in the UK, will be announced in the near future.

It is possible that an interim WBO heavyweight title will be at stake in this meeting. Boxers occupy the top two places in the World Boxing Organization rankings, and Joyce already has the status of an official contender for the championship belt.

The Briton won against Carlos Takam in his last performance. The last time Parker boxed was in December, winning for the second time on points against Derek Chisora.
