Fury and White did meet at a press conference

Today's press conference between the WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury (31-0-1, 22 KOs) and Dillian Whyte (28-2, 19 KOs) took place in a pleasant atmosphere ahead of their scheduled fight on Saturday.

Tyson Fury: “White is a good fighter, he is strong, tough and hardy, he has a strong punch. He knocked out many of his opponents. He has a lot of experience in martial arts, he used to be a kickboxer, he fought in MMA. He certainly deserves respect. I trained as hard as I did before the fights with Klitschko or Wilder, so you will see my best version in the ring."

Dillian Whyte: “I will do everything to win, I am ready for anything. I'm not afraid to take risks. I've risked my whole life. I did not imagine a plan for this fight, because it will be important to adapt in it. It is not known how Tyson will box. I'll have to adapt to him with my boxing."

All in all, Fury and White's press conference was a pleasant one, with the exception of a minor incident during the duel, when there was a brief clash between "Gypsy King" father John Fury and White's brother Dean. After the conference, Fury Sr. and the Body Snatcher commented on this skirmish.

“He is 600 years old, and he is trying to build something out of himself. I told him, John, calm down, you're an adult and you're screaming like a child," said White, who believes that John is always trying to jump ahead of his son.

Meanwhile, John Fury had this to say: “It was my fault. I am old but ambitious. I gave in to my emotions. After all, it's about my son. Sometimes my head tells my body to do something it can't do anymore."
