White is the clear underdog of this fight. He has not entered the ring since March 2021, when he stopped Alexander Povetkin in their rematch. Before that, White lost to Povetkin by a brutal knockout in their first meeting.
Fury last fought in October when he sensationally knocked out Deoney Wilder in their trilogy in Las Vegas. Fury was knocked down twice but was able to knock out Wilder in the eleventh round.
Many boxing fans don't give White much of a chance in his upcoming fight with Fury, but the Gypsy King himself is of a different opinion.
A win over White would put Fury in line to fight the winner of the upcoming rematch between Oleksandr Usyk and Anthony Joshua, who will fight for the WBO, IBF and WBA titles in June or July of this year.
“Now I only think about Dillian Whyte, I don’t think about retirement. All this will come after I have a fight, and we will think about what lies ahead for us, what awaits me in the future, ”Fury said.

“Now I have a difficult task in the person of Dillian. Many underestimate White, but not me. I gave this guy all the respect he deserves throughout the entire training camp, I've been training since January. I broke all the records in the gym, so I feel good and I look good. I don't underestimate this guy and treat him the same as Deontay Wilder," Fury said.
