Middleweight unification bout between Claressa Shields (12-0, 2 KOs) and Savannah Marshall (12-0, 10 KOs) will be held in July in England. At stake in the meeting will be IBF, WBA, WBO and WBC champion titles.

Initially, this event was scheduled for June 25, but due to the possible coincidence of dates with the rematch between Anthony Joshua and Oleksandr Usyk, the fight will be postponed to July. The exact date will be announced in the near future.

Shields returned to the boxing ring in February after over a year's hiatus with a unanimous points victory over Ema Kozin. The last time Marshall boxed was last Saturday. At an evening in Newcastle, a 30-year-old Briton effectively knocked out Femke Hermans from Belgium.
