Munguia-Jacobs on June 11th in the US?

Negotiations are underway to conclude a contract for a fight between the ex-world welterweight champion Jaime Munguia (39-0, 31 KOs) and Daniel Jacobs (37-4, 30 KOs). The fight may take place on June 11 in the United States.

The fight will take place under an interim contract limit of 164 pounds (74.38 kg). Prior to that, Jacobs competed in the super middleweight category, while Munguia competed in the middleweight category.

Mungia was recently tried on, including as rivals to Jermall Charlo. The Mexican also refused to participate in the fight for the WBO temporary belt and the final eliminator for the WBC title.
