Undefeated Swedish welterweight Khamzat Chimaev speculated on the topic of a possible confrontation with the absolute world boxing champion in super middleweight Saul Alvarez.
“Alvarez has been in boxing all his life and has dealt with a lot of strong opponents in his career. In his element, I cannot win. But if he moves to the UFC and fights me there, then it will take me ten seconds to put him to sleep.
This guy has never trained in wrestling or grappling. It's like a Russian who speaks only his own language, comes to an English-speaking country and tries to communicate in English. He won't be able to do it, and it's the same here. It's like different games: football and basketball, for example," Chimaev said on The Triple C and Schmo Show podcast.
