On Monday, Don King won a bid to organize a fight for the WBA regular heavyweight belt between Trevor Bryan (22-0, 15 KOs) and Daniel Dubois (17-1, 16 KOs), but the American promoter protested. King is not satisfied with the division of the amount offered in the tender.

The legendary American promoter's winning bid was $3.11 million. As determined by the WBA, the amount will be divided at a ratio of 55 to 45 in favor of the American, which King knew about when he participated in the auction. However, the promoter says the ratio should be 75 to 25 for Brian.

The fight should take place on June 18 in New York, Miami or London. By mid-April, both boxers must sign contracts for the fight, but King's protest could delay this procedure.
