Berlanga and Zayas win on points

Unbeaten Super Middleweight Edgar "The Chosen One" Berlanga (19-0, 16 KOs) won by unanimous decision over Steve Rolls (21-2, 12 KOs) in the main event of the evening at the Madison Square Garden Theater in New York. Berlanga, who started his career with 16 consecutive first-round knockouts, went the full distance for the third time in a row, winning 96-94, 97-93 and 97-93.

Also this evening, the undefeated junior middleweight boxer Xander Zayas (13-0, 9 KOs) scored a convincing one-sided victory over Quincy LaValle (12-3-1, 7 KOs). The entire fight took place with the complete dominance of Zayas. Judging scores: 80-71, 80-72, 80-72.
