Joshua: "Whyte's absence at the press conference means nothing"

“No one remembers the press conference anyway. I don't know why people bother with these conferences. What matters is the fight. Why bother with unnecessary things?" Joshua asked rhetorically in an interview with IFL TV, who was going to watch the April confrontation of his compatriots from the ringside.

Despite Whyte's absence at the first press conference with Fury, the tickets for the championship fight were sold out instantly. The organizers sold out 85,000 tickets to Wembley Stadium in 3 hours.
