Fiziev: “I understand why the whole world is talking about Chimaev”

#11 UFC Lightweight Ranking Rafael Fiziev spoke about joint training with promotion welterweight prospect Khamzat Chimaev.

“Yes, we did some training together. One time I fought him and one more time we sparred on the stand. He is a very strong guy. After I trained with him, I now understand why the whole world is talking about him. He is really strong. He has a perfect wrestling and a very good strike.

Our sparring sessions were respectful. He didn't try to kill me, and I certainly didn't try to kill him either, because he's a big guy and I'm about to have a fight. He is a great person, everything was respectful, ”Sportkeeda quotes Fiziev.

Recall that on March 5 at UFC 272 Fiziev will fight against Rafael dos Anjos.
