An evening of boxing on April 16 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, in the main event of which there will be a unification bout for three welterweight belts between the WBC and IBF title holder Errol Spence Jr. (27-0, 21 KOs) and WBA champion Yordenis Ugas (27-4, 12 KOs), received an approved undercard.
As part of the same evening, the mandatory contender for the WBA title Eimantas Stanionis (13-0, 9 KOs) will meet with the regular champion of the World Boxing Association Rajab Butaev (14-0, 11 KOs). The winner of this bout will cross gloves with the winner of the Spence-Ugas bout. Thus, within the framework of this evening, in different fights, there will be two WBA champion titles in one weight at once - a “super champion” and a “regular” champion.
Arlington will also host another fight between Isaac Cruz (22-2-1, 15 KOs) and former world champion in three weight categories Yuriorkis Gamboa (30-4, 18 KOs). For Cruz, it will be a return to the ring after losing to Gervonte Davis last December.
Boxing fans will also see the fight of former world featherweight champion Francisco Vargas (27-3-2, 19 KOs) against Jose Valenzuela (11-0, 7 KOs).
