Adesanya names his next opponent

UFC Middleweight Champion Israel Adesanya confirmed that his next opponent would be Jared Cannonier.

“Cannonier will be next. I have other plans for Strickland, I can't reveal them yet.

I want to fight Cannonier. I consider him a great fighter. I'm a man of my word, so he's next. We will fight in June or July, ”Adesanya said on The MMA Hour.

On February 13, Adesanya defended his title for the fourth time, winning a unanimous decision over Robert Whittaker.
