Ennis-Clayton auction set for March 1st

Jaron Ennis (28-0, 26 KOs) and Custio Clayton (19-0-1, 12 KOs) were selected to participate in the qualifying bout for the IBF welterweight world title. The tender for the choice of the organizer of this fight is scheduled for March 1.

Teams of boxers are likely to avoid bidding and quickly come to an agreement. The fight is scheduled to take place in the United States this spring at one of Showtime's boxing nights.

The winner will become the official challenger for Errol Spence Jr., who will cross gloves in a unification bout with Yordenis Ugas in his next fight.
