Bidding for the fight Hrgovic-Chzhilei scheduled for February 24

IBF announced the beginning of the period of negotiations for the final heavyweight eliminator with the participation of Philip Hrgovic (14-0, 12 KOs) and Zhang Zhilei (23-0-1, 18 KOs).

If the teams of boxers fail to reach an agreement, which is unlikely, the organizer of the fight will be determined by a tender scheduled for February 24th. At the auction, the distribution of the proposed amount will be in the ratio of 60 to 40 in favor of Hrgovic.

At the moment, the IBF belt in the royal division belongs to Oleksandr Usyk (19-0, 13 KOs), who will face Anthony Joshua (24-2, 22 KOs) in a rematch in the spring.
