Jermall Charlo was arrested again

WBC World Middleweight Champion Jermall Charlo (32-0, 22 KOs) was arrested on Friday on charges of assaulting a family member. The police have set bail at $10,000, so the boxer is likely to be released very quickly.

The details of the case are not yet known. However, so far there is no threat that the situation will affect the sports plans of the American, who in May can fight for the title of absolute champion in super middleweight with Saul Alvarez.

Charlo also ended up behind bars last year. The two-weight champion was arrested in August and charged with robbery following an alleged incident in a San Antonio bar. All charges in the case were dropped earlier this month.
