Volkov contracted the coronavirus

Top Russian heavyweight UFC Alexander Volkov passed a positive test for coronavirus. Informs about this TASS with a link to a source in the fighter's team.

Earlier it became known that Volkov should fight his next fight against Briton Tom Aspinall on March 19 at the Fight Night series tournament in London.

“Alexander has a positive test result for coronavirus. He went into isolation. The fight is currently in force, ”said a representative of the Volkov team.

Recall that the 33-year-old Russian had his last fight on October 30 at UFC 267 in Abu Dhabi, defeating Marcin Tybura by unanimous decision.
