The final IBF heavyweight eliminator between Filip Hrgovic (14-0, 12 KOs) and Tony Yoka (11-0, 9 KOs), which a few days ago looked quite real.

As it turned out, Yoka may have problems if he agrees to this fight, because he has a valid contract for a duel on January 15 with Martin Bakole (17-1, 13 KOs), which was postponed due to the situation with covid. At least that's what Bacole's manager and coach Billy Nelson claims.

Now everything will depend on the IBF, which, if it decides that Yoka is really “bound” by the contract, will look for another opponent in the rating for Hrgovic. At the moment, the next boxers on the list of contenders after Yoka are: Joe Joyce (who has already turned down the fight with Hrgovic), Agit Kabayel, Murat Gassiev and Andy Ruiz Jr.
