WBO World Light Heavyweight Champion Joe Smith Jr. (27-3, 21 KOs) and Steve Jeffrard (18-2, 12 KOs) went through the official weigh-in procedure on the eve of their fight in Verona. The 31-year-old boxer from Florida replaced Callum Johnson, who tested positive for COVID-19 the day before. Smith weighed 79.2 kg, Jeffrard - 78.7 kg.
