The fight of Ramirez and Pedraza postponed for a month

Former world champion in two weight categories Jose Pedraza (29-3, 14 KOs) contracted COVID-19. For this reason, his fight with the former super lightweight champion Jose Carlos Ramirez (26-1, 17 KOs), scheduled for February 5, will be postponed to March 4.

This will be Ramirez's first performance since losing to Josh Taylor last year. In May, the Californian lost to the Scotsman in a duel for four championship belts in the 140 category.

The 32-year-old Pedraza, who has held both featherweight and lightweight championship belts, last boxed in June last year, defeating previously unbeaten Julian Rodriguez.
