Cejudo continues to demand a fight with Volkanovski

Former UFC two weight division champion Henry Cejudo does not give up trying to get a fight with the title holder in the featherweight division Alexander Volkanovski.

“Hey Dana White, give me a duel with Alex. I would never withdraw from a fight. I am Mexican and we never back up. We need an American UFC champion. I am your best chance. Alex will fall asleep faster than Joe Biden,” Cejudo tweeted.

Volkanovski was supposed to fight Max Holloway on March 5 at UFC 272, but the other day the American aggravated his old injury and dropped out of the fight. There was no official information about the replacement of the opponent or the postponement of the meeting yet.

Cejudo announced his retirement in May 2020.
