Saul Alvarez (57-1-2, 39 KOs) in an interview with FOX TV said that he does not think about choosing opponents for his fights and leaves this question at the discretion of his coach and manager Eddie Reinoso.

“I don't care, really. Whatever Eddie decides, I'll be ready, I'm ready for everything," said the Mexican. "I just want to fight the best, that's all. I want to write history. I don't care who stands in front of me."

Saul Alvarez, who unified super middleweight championship belts in 2021, is expected to return to the ring on May 7. A few weeks ago, Eddie Reinoso suggested that Canelo could challenge the WBC cruiserweight title.
